Almost immediately after arriving at the scene, Zilla was met with a rather furious-looking Glalie. It was probably just trying to protect its territory, if that's something the species did, but the Rocket grunt could have cared less. Giuseppe at the Mauville black market had been looking for some new ice Pokemon to sell, and fully evolved specimen were always worth more than low level ones. So while Glalie's arrival hadn't necessarily been expected, it was appreciated all the same.

[break][break]Zilla wasted no time calling out Mightyena and Houndoom. Two against one wasn't fair, and if this were a regulated battle then she would have certainly been penalized. But this wasn't, and she didn't care about cheating or poor sportsmanship if it meant getting her hands on a worthy prize. She would have just as soon called Talonflame and Charizard onto the battlefield to lend some fiery aid if they weren't at an inherent disadvantage for being flying-types.

[break][break]"Take down," the grunt ordered, and her dual canines obeyed. Both raced forward in unison, leaping out of the way to avoid shards of ice and subzero blasts of air, and swiftly approaching their target. Once close enough, they pounced toward the Glalie and latched on with burning fangs (Fire Fang). The sentient sphere wailed in pain, and that agony only seemed to grow in intensity when Zilla shouted, "Burn it!" and red-hot flames emerged from the sides of Houndoom's maw, burning the wild Pokemon at point-blank range (Inferno).

[break][break]As the Glalie flailed around in a desperate attempt to shake off its assailants, Zilla tossed a pokeball.
